Used to be the Ultimate was to lay frame, now with body drops there are
those who want their truck to lay rocker panels. Interestingly enough the
way a 55-59 is made, the cab hangs lower or as low as the frame, so they in
essence lay rocker from the start. I am running Air Bags in the back with
my 4-link suspension and in the front I am debating on Shock Waves or Air
Bags and brackets, I have been told that air bags with brackets will have
more suspension travel than the Shock Wave, but the Shock Wave is so much
easier to install and looks better .. of course it's also $300 more as well.
