Alan,

Every Chevrolet I have seen has always had the horn mounted in the engine
compartment.  I assume you are talking about your '54 Chevy.....I believe
they were mounted to the core support.  My TF trucks have louvers punched in
the baffle next to the radiator to let the sound out.  Do the AD trucks have
the same?
