I'm getting ready to play with the body of my 51 3100. I have a 350/700R4 set
to go in. The frame has a MII installed. Does the firewall need to be worked
over for this engine trans combo to go in alright? I've seen so many trucks
with the fire wall cut up or banged up for a V8 to fit in. I've also read alot
about the engine offset to the right for the steering linkage to fit. Do I need
to get an aftermarket firewall or floor trans hump set up to install?
What would be the best engine mount set up to install?
