No need for it to be big and bulky, if you don't want that.

How about mounting this through the back panel of the drawer?

Sorry, I've never seen a cord as you describe.  Closest I could come would
be one of those PlugMold surface raceways with outlets that you could cut to
length with a hacksaw.  But they are kind of pricy (unless you find one
used) and still a DIY solution.
