Hi everyone
Anyone ever succeeded in unbending a Spitfire MK4 body shell
The one I have, has had the floor and sills replaced in the past, and the
doors don't close, even at best adjustment, but lifting them so that the A
Panel flex's allow them to shut.
The problem is a lot better with the Hard top on, but getting the roof on
takes 3 people and a lot of brut force.
Anyone takled this kind of fix.
I thought maybe
Stuff Hard top on
Make up some kind of bracket, with an adjuster to spread the door frames
open
Remove the Sills, Inner and outer
And reweld
I really don't want to cut out the floor, but will if i have to
Any thoughts ?
