I've seen this plate - it's common to the Spitfire and GT6.  In fact, I
have seen the plate where there are 2 sets of holes drilled in it.  I
always thought that this was for non-O/D and O/D installations, thought
I may be wrong.

In the short term, though,  what's to prevent you from drilling new
holes in the plate to mount up the O/D tranny mount?  All you have to do
is install the engine/tranny (with tranny mount attached), mark on the
plate where the holes should be, unbolt the plate from the frame, drill
your holes, and Bob's your uncle (with the pet marmot playing in the
spare fluif...)

Or, do I have things completely bass-ackwards?
