Anniversary Spitfires?

Hello list,

I was just wondering what people  could tell me about the anniversary
Spitfires that were sold in 1970.  I am left to figure 25 years after the
end of WWII, where the Spitfires originally shone, was the reason for the
edition.  Also, what was special about the cars other than the RAF bullseye
Logo on the hood?  Anyone else have a '70 they know anything about?
