Chris,
The Lotus community has been installing the Pertronix ignition in their
cars for years, so I'm sure it can be done. Unfortunately I'm not real
familiar with the insides of a Spitfire points distributor or the
Pertronix, so I don't know what is causing you your grief.
The two concerns below sell the Pertronix for Loti that originally came
with points-type ignitions. Why not give them a call?
