Cheer up, Paul. You're an employed physician with good computer skills,
two kids, a home in an up-and-coming neighborhood, a Spitfire, and enough
money to be buying several parts at one time, with express shipping. One
can't expect much more out of life, except maybe a good dog.

Dear all,

Is it just me or is anyone else having a bad week. The weekend was great,
then I went to work at midnight on Sunday and it's been downhill since. I
had a really busy night, everyone in Doncaster must have been through A&E
(I'm an Immunologist during the day and an on-call Biochemist 4 nights a
month). Couldn't sleep Monday day due to the neighbours remodelling their
house, door to door salesmen, delivery drivers (nothing for me)etc. Monday
night I fell victim to the April 26th virus, which I hadn't heard about
then, it totally trashed my hard drive and I've had to re-install
everything. Naturally I can't find any of my backup disks. Found out about
the virus this morning, really useful.
Get home from work today to find a parcel, great, Rimmer's 3 day delivery
service has only taken 6. Half the stuff I ordered isn't there, to follow!
They didn't tell me it was out of stock when I ordered it. My daughter made
off with the 'foam rubber packing', I had to retrieve it and tell her that
these were actually expensive sidelight seals not waste. Then my son told
me
his computer went down yesterday too so another 3 hours wasted restoring
all
his software.
I'm on-call again tomorrow night so it will be Friday night before I'm fit
to do anything to the Spit, 24 hours at work at my age isn't as easy as it
once was.
Please someone, tell me you're having a bad time too, misery loves company.
BTW Rimmer Bro's new catalogues are out next month and they've re-done the
Spitfire one, lets hope there's something special in there.

Regards

Paul
