Dave,
Originally it was painted the same as the outer colour. I opted to have
mine painted a Semi-Gloss Black, why?? It was easier for one and I really
like it that way... I just had mine painted last winter, we did a complete
colour change. From Orange to Yellow. Check it out at the link down below,
it has the bonnet up so you can see the black underside.
