Gerry,

I have used a long T-Allen wrench and just held the piston to keep it from
turning. Every time I've been adjusting the carb I have had the air filter
off, so you can hold it in place with light pressure.  Yes it is risking
tearing it, but I have never had any trouble.  Just be careful.
