April 1st Restart

I started the 80' spit today. New England weather was 55 and Sunny. 
Everything checks out except, no year breaks. The PDWA switch on, that is the 
break light on the dash is illuminated. No puddles or leaks that I could 
find. I ordered a Master cylinder rebuild kit today. Any advice or 
suggestions before I take it apart next weekend?
The Bently manual makes it sound easy, is it?
