Gerry, your bumpers are in fact supposed to be black and it is an easy fix
to remedy. Simpley clean your bumper with soap and water really well, go
over is with oh about 320 grit sandpaper and go buy at Wal-Mart or your
favorite local culprit a can of Bumper Black. Take maybe two cans and you
will be set. Works quite well, in fact if you sand well enough you could
pass it off as new.
Oh for the rear bumper yes it is that easy, the front can be done, but only
with cutting and welding on of new front brackets. Not that hard, but not
for the timid.
