At my company we contract with a forklift company for service on the 4 units
in the warehouse.
The service guy was here this AM changing the oil etc., I was making small
talk and looked down at the engine, I saw the brake master cylinder. Looked
REAL close to the one on my 71 Spit !
He called and the retail price was $52.50 !
The only thing I see that is a major difference is the bolt pattern, the
bolts are at 1:00 and 7:00.

Vicky Brit's price is very close to $400.00 !!!!

The fork lift is a Hyster, it is dual reservoir cylinder, plastic container,
and the lines can be run to either side of the cylinder ! The throw is the
same as the Spit. 

For $350.00 it might be worth fabricating a new bracket to match the bolt
pattern on the Hyster !
