I suggest that you have it re-cored at a local radiator shop. Make sure
that they guarantee their work.

Subject: Radiator Leak

Hello,

My radiator has finally decided to start leaking. It
appears to be leaking from the lower tank seam, on the right side.
It is sort of hard to see, since this ares is partly hidden
by the side panel that runs between the top and bottom tanks.
Other than this, the radiator seems to be OK.

Here are some things I could do about it:

1: Throw in some Bar's Leaks or similar stuff, and hope the problem goes
away.

2: Have a shop simply fix the leak.

3: Have a shop do a more extensive rebuild.

Does anyone have any good advice? Can I trust a run-of-the-mill
radiator shop not to mess it up? How much would a rebuild generally cost?
Can anyone recommend a radiator shop in Central NJ area?

Thanks,

Doug Braun
