Patrick,

When I did that to mine I received a very nice little boost in power. It
made it much easier to merge onto freeways, and to pass cars after already
being at freeway speed. Sounds more powerful too. My only problem is that
I'll have to pull it off and go back to stock every 2 years to pass smog.
I'll immediately put it back on after the smog check of course!

I did have one very weird experience during installation. After putting it
on I had one cylinder that just wouldn't fire. Pulled the head, had a valve
job done (they were a bit worn anyway), still no luck. Myself and an LBC
mechanic buddy who was helping were going absolutely nuts. Pulled the Cannon
intake back off and eventually found a solid plug of casting sand stuck way
back in the middle of one of the bends. It was pretty much blocking the air
flow to that cylinder. Thank god it stayed solid and hadn't broken apart and
messed up the nice new valve job.

All in all, I'd definitely go through it all again for the performance
boost.
