Yes, it fits under an unmodified GT6 Mk3 bonnet.  The engine picture shows by 
how much if you focus on the
grey foam air dam at the very top of the engine - as little as an inch just 
forward of the carb along the
sides of the hood bulge, and as much as about 3" in the middle of the bulge.  
The hood/bonnet itself forms the
top of that "plenum" area.  What I'm told is that this was done with a combo of 
stock GT6 and stock Buick
engine mounts.  I'll add a close up of the mounts this weekend.

There's also been a request for a photo of the exhaust manifold - I'll add that 
over the weekend, too.

Any other requests for pics?  I'll always add them to the site rather than 
putting them in email.
