5 speed trannys

With all this talk about 5 speeds from different type of cars and all these
modifications needed for each type, would it not be cheaper to install a
overdrive and be done with it and have a 7 speed tranny, 2 in 2nd, 2 in 3rd,
and 2 in 4th, plus 1st., and I know where to get parts and reliable service
if needed, and I'm not sure I would care for anything Hundai (or how ever
you speel it) in my car. Just my 0002 "FT"
