On "Heinz" the project car I'm working on, I intend to use early one
peice seats which don't have the seatbelt warning switch built in. And
the seatbelt connector may not have the wiring in it either.

But the dash I'm building has the "Seatbelt Warning" lamp in it. Rather
than have a dead dash lamp, I'm wondering the following:

Can I buy a timer unit, somewhat like a flasher module, that I can wire
to the warning light that will light it for a few seconds then go out.
(I think modern cars must have such a device.) That way the warning
light will look like it has a purpose, but I won't have to have the
extra wiring and problems with seat/seatbelt switches.

Any thoughts?
Cheers, Fred
