I have brought home a couple of MK3 tubs using a mid size truck
(Dakota). If you place 3 or 4 2 x 6's across the box sides, the tub can
sit on these. I then used a rope and tied it down to four tiedown clips
that are used with a truck canopy. The second tub, slipped into the box
as I was not too woried about damage. I think that newer cars might be
wider so don't get it wedged in.
It will take a minimum of 3 preferably four bodies and some beer. I
would estimate a bare tub to be about 300 pounds. Add for doors and
anything else.
