Sam,
The 73 had self adjusting rear brakes If you want to switch to manual
adjusters, you may need to replace the back plate (the plate where the rear
brake hardware attaches( essentally, go back to 72 GT6 rear brakes). This
may be your best course of action. Good luck!!
