Alan, I recently pulled off all my old furflex in preparation for painting
the jambs & installing new furflex, so I can't comment on that. However, I
just inspected my old A-pillar seal (original, I believe). Though it's
fairly beat up, it appears that on the top it is tucked underneath the
stainless cover atop the windshield frame; it extends downward to about an
inch above the door-switch for the interior lights - the lower portion
following the outside line of the A-pillar.
