I agree with Richard, chrome looks much nicer (although I think black
looks better with colours like java green). Saskia is flamenco red and
had all black trim when I bought her. She now has chrome wing mirrors,
door handles and wipers, and will soon have chrome rear finishers (round
the number plates) when i get round to fitting them. Then I will only
need to replace the trim along the rear wings to complete the chrome
trim. I bought all of the parts from Spitfire Graveyard, just popping in
on a Saturday and seeing if they had any decent quality stuff in. The
most recent stuff I picked up was the finishers for #16. Also the paint
can't chip off the chrome stuff, something that I noticed had happened
with the black trim that I replaced.
