I was inspired to weigh the spare bolt-on wire wheel I have.
My (fairly decent digital) bathroom scale said it weighed 16 pounds!
If you had knock-off wire wheels, you would probably have to add
a couple more pounds for the splined hub.

It's sort of ironic that wire wheels would be considered a performance
accessory...
