Help - perhaps I am not equal to classic car ownership!
With the Western Washington All British Field Meet coming up in a few weeks
I've been trying to get Ginger looking her best. I decided to try polishing
up the rear bumper and read on the web - http://www.autopia-carcare.com -
that you could use fine steel wool or a kitchen scouring pad. WARNING - do
not use a kitchen scotchbrite pad!!!! My question is: without doing any
more harm - how do I bring the 4" x 6" dull area I created back to full
luster? I believe that as long as the chrome remains this is possible.
Second question - I have two small areas on the boot lid where the paint is
showing cracks and slight lifting. I am a long way away from wanting or
needing to repaint the car. What can I do to keep these from lifting
anymore.
Please share your wisdom.
