Thanks to Terry and Joe for responding,your picture shows the distributor in
the same position as mine.
The Hanes manual says install the drive gear with off centred slot at
12 and 6 o clock Page 73. Is it correct that the drive gear could be in any
position as long as the rota is at # 1 plug lead when #1 piston is at TDS . I
have seen pictures of the rota cap in other positions Rimmer Parts book page
