I do know that you can't split the stick on plate into two halves. My mate did
that on his mini. It looked cool, but never passed am MOT!!
I also remember somthing about being as vertical as the body would allow. I
have seen some E-Types with them on the bonnet (hood) that were almost
horizontal!!! Go figure!!
