I was a sucker and bought the K&N brand cleaner - I was thinking of trying
something else - there can't be anything scientific about it - if they turn
white it's clean - but I got sold it by moss when I ordered the K&N oil. Does
anybody else panic when they ask you "anything else?" - I always think I've
forgotten something!

Using my knowledge of oil (its that gloopy stuff you put in the top of the
engine, right?) - I wouldnt be surprised if it were just normal oil - with red
colouring. If they can sell you white spirit in a squirty bottle, then they can
easily sell you a little bit of coloured oil too. And the logic should dictate
that if you only have to clean it off with white spirit then the oil itself
can only be some sort of fancy coloured standard oil.

I wouldnt be surprised if it were cooking oil or somthing :)

Talk about being charged for no reason - I was just charged #10 by the woman
who does all out ID cards around college to cancel the one I lost over
christmas. They still owed me an ID card from septemeber - but they still
charged me - when all she had to do was click cancel on her computer screen.
#10 per click obviously. When I asked her where this #10 went she looked at me
blankly.

And Im still being charged for my parking ticket that I got before
christmas...... I got a standard letter back from the people saying they'd
looked in to it and found I was in the wrong. You could tell that they hadn't
even considered it - they didnt give a reason! And if I want to appeal - and I
lose then I've go t to pay the full #60 and not the 14 day #30.

Of course being a student, I can afford these things!........ like my tuition
fees arent enough already.
