petrol treatment.

Anybody use the redex petrol treatment stuff?

I bought some on impulse in B&Q yesterday. Does it work? In the first
weeks I had my spit - I drove it on fumes to the petrol station one time
and Im sure the fuel system would have taken in lots of crud. This is
just a hunch of course.
