Mike,

The steering wheel could have been re-fitted incorrectly, or it is possible
the tracking was re-set without the wheel being fixed in the straight-ahead
position.

You should be able to get the wheel pretty close to straight-ahead simply by
pointing the wheels straight ahead, removing the steering wheel and
replacing it closer to straight-ahead, but you are limited by how close the
splines are.  Once it's as close as you can get, your only further option is
to get the steering re-tracked with the wheel fixed in the straight-ahead
position - a straight-forward procedure for any tyre shop to carry out.
Getting your tracking checked/fixed regularly is something worth doing
anyway.
