Since the axles are the lower contril arm in the swing axle suspension,
disconnecting them from the diff will cause the things to be only connected
by the upper control element (which is in this case the spring). If you
don't have the diff in place to secure the spring, it will allow the wheels
to go whichever way they desire. So if you are removing thediff, you will
have to get some sort of dolley to put under the back end so that you can
rol it around.
