  Since we're talking about lbc's tv stars...
  I suppose we should at least mention the ratty ol' Spridget David Jansen
used to drive in a detective show I've forgotten the name of.  Used to annoy
his mechanic with it.
  I remember seeing a later one in some tv show or tv movie that was used in
a bank robbery.  The thieves drove it off somewhere, then stopped and pulled
a layer of vinyl shelf paper(?) off of it to change it's color.
