Now that it's cold again here in North Carolina,
the '72 is back to it's hard-starting problems.

In the warm weather, just touch the key and it
cranks and starts immediately.

Get down in the 50's, pull the choke, touch the key,
cranks just a sec and catches and starts.

Down in the 30's, pull the choke, let the fuel pump run
a bit, hit the key, cranks. Hit the key again. Cranks.
Kit the key again, cranks, grudgingly catches and dies.
Hit the key one more time, catches, and settles in to a
beautiful idle.

What is there about the cold weather that does this?

BTW, 1275 with dual SUs. Runs great. Just starts hard in the
cold.
