Ron and others,
I was about to install a dellorto DHLA40 of my brothers but he said its more
hassle than its worth, as last time he used it he had starting problems with
it and reckons his sprite had less power and used more fuel with it on.
Theres a little coil spring operated mechanism on one side that appears to
be a bit knackered.(the spring dosen't appear to be how it should, one end
isn't fixed)I know nothing about these carbs either.(used to know my
chryslers carter back to front so I'm not totally inept) I figure it should
be a good carb.
Anyone know how to get it into form?
Thanks heaps for the tuning tips Ron. I'll try to snag a timing light from
someone and give it a go myself.
Andy
