Any you guys got the book "The Sports Car Engine; its Tuning and
Modification" by Colin Campbell. 1963/'65/'68 SBN 412 07470 2 1.3

Amongst a host of tuning matters, he refers to the Judson S/C. He
says about the CR:-" ...boost pressure of 6 lb/inch2 will raise cyl. press.
and bearing loads by equiv. of 2 c.r.s...... for reliability, a reasonable
limit
for the typical engine would be a c.r of 8:1 at max boost of 6lbs/inch2."

(If anybody wants to know more of what he says about the Judson or other
tuning matters, do e-mail me off list. Sorry, still trying to get a scanner to
work, so can't take that easy route just yet.)

Book even shows a B/W picture of the "...Judson for the Sprite"

Regards from a b****y cool Ireland, 59 F.
