Hi List,

I have a question regarding a hot running Midget Mk III (1275 with oil
cooler but no other modifications). Apart from ripping out the radiator
and having it recored, what else can i do to get it to run cooler. I have
replaced the thermostat and have cleaned the radiator (outside with
degreaser and water, inside with a radiator flush). What else can be done?
I have read aout retarding the engine on one bulletin board and about
advancing on another. I have also been advised by one friend to lean the
mixture and by another to enrich it. (I assume making it richer is better,
but by how much). With spring and summer bearing down in Sydney I don't
want to be the only one with the top down and the bonnet up. All advice
would be appreciated.

Many thanks in advance
