I recently installed the original type horn on my car, so I can help you
here. You do need a bracket which mounts to the base of the right side
radiator pillar. There are good pictures on page 31 of Horler.

I haven't seen the bracket in any catalogs - if you need to make one, Iet me
know, and I'll measure mine and send you a sketch and the dimensions.
