Hi, Paul --
'73 Midgets have their chassis number (VIN) on a tag riveted to the top of
the metal dash, just to the left of the windshield center reinforcing rod.
The number is duplicated, along with the build date, on another tag riveted
to the rear of the driver's door jamb. The tag between the driver's door
hinges is the body number of the car. There is no tag on the frame rail,
but the chassis number is stamped into the right front shock mount, to the
rear of the shock.
