Hi All,

Bet you thought I forgot about this trip. Actually My schedule got a
little busy for the last week. Now I'm back, so here is the plan.

We will meet for breakfast at Hobee's,
21269 Stevens Creek Blvd Cupertino, CA 95014-5717
Look it up on http://www.Mapblast.com/mblast/index.mb or
at 9:00 AM. This gives us all time to arrive, chat, and best of all
eat, my favorite thing. We will leave at 10:30 for the park. So please
arrive before that.

Directions are as follows:

Hobee's is off of Hwy 85 South that connects to I 280. Take the
Stevens creek Blvd. exit and head East. The map shows them to be about
a 1/4 mile down the road.

At 10:30 we will depart the restaurant heading West down Stevens creek
road, looking at the map it goes through to hwy 9. At hwy. 9 junction
turn right, West and we will follow it to Skyline Blvd. where we will
take a quick break to stretch our legs look at the view, take some Pic's
what ever. We follow hwy 9 until it takes an abrupt left turn and we
continue on hwy 236. This will take us right into the park itself. Any
time there is a nice pic's spot we can stop or we can hot dog around the
curves to the park, up to you all at this point. But beware the curves
are always damp and sometimes down right wet. This makes them very
slick and hazardous. I ride motorcycles so I am very in tune with the
road conditions, don't ask.

Bring a picnic lunch and we will eat out under the tree's in the park.
You also might want to bring a umbrella, rain coat or at least a sweater
depending on the weather. A picnic blanket might also be wise or
chairs. There is a entrance fee of $6 at least it used to be, so bring
a little extra just in case.

After a good time and maybe a look-see we will take off to rejoin hwy 9
further down. Depending on the time we can continue to Santa Cruz and
have a nice diner or split up and go home.

BTW I don't have any knowledge of diner spots in SC. IF anyone knows
the area let me know of some and we can all make a choice then.

Larry you can even bring the P**che if you want. As long as you come I
don't think we care it's not a Sprite. That goes for anyone, If you
don't think your pride and joy will make it, drive the family Buick.
The main theme is to have a good time with good company.

Looking forward to seeing all of you, and I know the timing is bad with
the Superbowl Sunday going on. But it not the Niner's playing any
ways. Maybe it is, I'm not much of a sports buff. Bring a friend it
okay. Need a head count too.

Rick or is that Wrong way Rickie

It's not just a drive it's an adventure or at least when I'm leading it
is.
We will be lucky to find the ocean when I drive. Will explain later.
