AND, keep in mind that a diff ratio and a diff are not the same thing.  The 
ring and pinion is the ratio and the diff is just the diff.

Admittedly usually you get the diff carrier, the diff and the ring and pinion 
as a job lot.  But if you buy a 3.7 or 3.5 brand new I would expect you will 
get just the ring and pinion.
