It's real money, as long as you spend it in Canada on non-imported goods.
It's when you try to buy something in the US or England, that it becomes a
joke.  Having a low dollar is great for our tourism industry though.  It's
cheap for someone to exchange their money for Canadian and visit here.

You don't have to walk very far to a restaurant in Montreal, either.  They
have a bundle of very good and inexpensive restaurants.

Sept. was cold???  You dont' really want to be here for winter then ...
