Timing gears

The timing chain, in my 1974 Midget Engine # 12C671Z/L20126, is a double
row. The books i have show a single chain. I can not find this 12C671Z in
any of my books. Does anyone if this is the correct engine for this car? I
also need to know much slack should be in the chain.TIA
