Thanks. And depending on browser one was using you may not have been able
to see all the pctures, but I think all of the
links are fixed now.

Thanks all...

  Andrew,
Beautiful 61! Must be a real hoot to drive it after all that time
off the road. A truly wonderful effort with excellent results. The 1961
Sprite is supposed to be the next Bugeye in terms of investment potential.
These are rare cars, in fact rarer that the Bugeye. Lucky guy.

    Well,
I took the Sprite on it's first REAL drive around the neighborhood,
since
the 17 years I've owned it. What I mean is, Hood on, Paint buffed,
Brakes
    work, lights work, etc......

It's been a long 17 years, but if it doesn't rain, looks like I may make
it
to the British Car Day Show in Cincinnati (Edgewater Raceway) next
Sunday.

Here's my Page: http://w3.one.net/~asisson if it you want to see it. Go
to
'New Sprite page', and the Pictures with the Top on are the Newest. We
had
just finished fitting the top and installed the snaps, and was letting
it
sit in the sun to warm up and allow the top to stretch, so I took a few
Pictures. Yeah, I know..I need some pictures with the Top down, and
believe
me, it'll mostly be TOPDOWN, but I've got got to be prepared for rain.

Once we discovered the bad condensor, and found out that the previous
owner
(17 Years ago) had put the wrong Needles in with the carb, and replaced
them....it now runs great. Of course the New Wiring harness and Engine
    re-build helped too.

Big thanks to Frank Clarici (who's sending me a Tach, and Bob Spruck (
who's
sending me a Steering Surround), John Holliday (for the cockpit Trim
piece),
    and for Bill Miller
for letting me know about this list, and for anyone who answered my
questions the last few months. I may not have been able to get it done
in
time for the show without everybody's assistance and various tips I've
been
reading. Even if you didn't know it, you may have helped get yet
another
    Sprite back on the road.

    Thanks,

    Andrew Sisson
