I wouldn't bet on that! Remember this is a British bike. When I was a
teenager, one of my friends bought a Triumph single cylinder (Cub?) that
someone had taken the ignition switch off of. We thought we could just look
at my old Bonneville and wire it up the same way--WRONG! I think there were
about a dozen wires to the switch. Finally got it figured out but easy it
wasn't.
