Diesel motors are changing fast my 01 is outdated already. You can't compare
a semi with a motor bigger than our LBC's to the small modern ones. I get
17-18 mpg (my last 454cid got 10 mpg) It does not smoke, very low smell, and
plenty fast. I love my Turbo Diesel. Many years ago I saw a boat diesel BMC
A block (with a rear oil seal) called a Westrbeak 800cc maybe that's what I
need for my Minor pickup.
