Good morning all!

I9ve been off-line for a bit, but with my grades turned in and my dad
visiting I9m back in the groove, even if it is temporary.

Anyways, I9ve recently overhauled the carbs and put a new jet kit in (HS2,
1275 mostly stock). I also recently installed a new choke cable because the
other one was was pretty stiff. Well with this newfangled twist and lock
jobby I can9t even pull the choke in, the old one was a solid stiff wire
that worked better. Anyways, how can I ease the stiffness of the choke?
The jets pull down smoothly by hand but they need more torque than I think
they should. I9d like to get this solved before I go about setting up the
carbs.

She started right up last night 12 flats down (rich as hell), so I9m ready
to start dialing her in, but if I need to take off the carbs to ease the
choke I want to do that first.

Thanks as always,

Mike in Chapel Hill, NC

P.s. I9m on the digest so please respond to me directly as well
