Kirk,
The lines that you ordered are the best and most
likely will correct the problem. The original
equipment rubber lines swell internally and shut off
the fluid, thus the clogged feel. Another problem
that is often over looked, if the car had ever been
loaded on a rollback, the hooks that the operaters use
will crush the steel brake lines were they go along
the top of the diff housing. Also are you sure the
slave cylinders aren't rusted up from sitting? This
is another very common problem on the rear of the car.
Pull the rear drums, one at a time, and have someone
"slowly" push the brake pedal to observe if the piston
starts to come out of the bore but be careful not to
let it come out to far. Also if you still have the
original sliding slave cyl. set up sometimes it will
rust to the backing plate.
