The Bugeye wheel wells/fender holes are just flat sheet metal.
Later Spridget front frnders are also flat and will probably work as 
patch panels.
But the later Spridget rear fenders are flared a bit and double steel 
(where they rust all the time) Yes the RWA Midgets have a flare too.
Also the back of the Bugeye rear wheel opening is a bit different from 
any other Spridget. It points back to the tire.

If you are capable of cutting wheel openings out of one car and welding 
them to another, you can fabricate new wheel openings out of metal.
Cut out a flat pattern, make a 1/2" wide lip and weld them together.
For a real nice improvment to the bugeye wheel holes, weld in a 1/4" 
metal bar around the opening. This will keep the wheel holes from 
buckling out as most do with some metal fatique. This also gets the 
fenders to go back to their original spots and not stick out past the 
rockers as long as someone is pulling forward on the nose as you weld 
the rod around the wheel well.
