Might have found the problem

Under close inspection I see that my rear H1 is leaking at bottom of the float
chamber mount...the grommets are dry and one is torn.  When I look at the
exploded view in the VB catalog it looks pretty straight forward ..unscrew
bolt at bottom replace grommets on top and bottom of bayonet mount of the
float bowl and reassemble..or am I just dreaming????  I think the loss of fuel
or air getting in system must be causing the problem stated earlier...wacha
think???
