Not sure what "getaway" rpm is...but PPP agrees that clutch issues have
become more of a problem with the aluminum flywheel.

My lightened steel flwheels are about 15lbs, vs. the alloy 7 lbs.

Even on the track, eh??? Interesting. 

How about that. One (read: me)
would think once underway (99%+ the time
your "out there" you're "at speed") the initial "getting underway"
wear factor in the case of the light alum.
flywheel wouldn't matter much in the long
run.....obviously not necessarily the case
at all. 

Must be a case of a lot more heat generated getting initially underway in
these respects than I had previously thought, obviously.

What RPM do you usually
have to use on the track to get decently
initially away as you "feather" the clutch, WST??
